Loz Cliffe

Originally from the Midlands, whilst at art college Loz cut his teeth playing live bass guitar on the East London underground funk, jazz and hiphop music scenes of the mid-nineties, with cross-genre experimentation always at the heart of his activities. Whilst Loz played bass for the underground jazz act MOTIV, he produced two albums for the band, and went on to produce two albums for the Mike Hobart Quintet. Loz is also a founding member of the anotherwordmusic collective, which organised and promoted the seminal ‘jazz meets hiphop live’ nights at the Clockwork club in Islington. He is also an electronic musician, and a multidisciplinary digital creative.
